Flunk take a trip back to one of their influences as they cover The Kinks' "All Day And All of The Night". With a wide range of remixes covering styles from electronic-rock-funk, trance and experimental electro-dub to ambient, there's a little something for everyone.

Their cover of "All Day And All of The Night" is where the electro-rock-funk comes in. I'm not sure what to think of this one. It's a mix of funk guitar, rock guitar chorus licks (very much in keeping with the original's style), dance beats and a simple bass line with Anja singing lead.
The Elektrofant remix of "I've Been Waiting All My Life To Leave You" starts off quiet, with a chord progression reminiscent of an old song by The Cure called "A Forest". The strings and plucked guitar are joined by Anja's vocals and a further Cure-like bass line, that strangely has a harpsichord backed chorus that reminds me of another old song called "Grimly Fiendish" by The Damned. It's a strange combination of styles (perhaps influences), but it's the only way I can describe this song.
Athome Project make a strong remix of "Play" as an ambient, experimental-electro-dub number, with deep bass and subtle glitch hints. Anja's voice floats over the tones in an airy, reverbed style. Heavy, slow beats fill in the ambience and set the song into a nice grind. Definitely the best mix presented so far.
Slowpho's mix of "Play" uses slow breaks, a less effected Anja, guitar strums, and strings to produce a light, urban groove. Nice bridges and well placed vocal solo's emphasize the structure in a good way. It doesn't hit me as deeply as Athome's version, but it's a nice mix.
4-to-the-floor and we have Tronso & Nils Noa's house mix of "All Day And All of The Night". Persistent 4/4 house beats, echoed and flanged vocal vocodes, guitar lick echoes, and a synth vibe that takes me straight back to Underworld's "Dark & Long".
Parliavox deliver a lush, ambient version of "Morning Star" complete with drifting grand piano, Rhodes organ funk, slow breaks, and a super-smooth dubby slink. Very, very nice work. This one takes the crown in my opinion.
So far, these songs are only available through iTunes.
