With "Cracq Magic International", De Vibroluxe takes a mix of over-the-counter sounds (disco, funk, latin, jazz, deep house) and cooks them into cut-up, funk biscuits. Cracq Magic International is heavy on disco and latin style in a severely cut-up way, and if you're not ready for it, this album can be a little hard to take, but like any potent narcotic, before long it's gonna own you.

"Lo-Fi Financial" breaks in with a bass line that doesn't quit, sleek synth pads and cascading keys, soulful vocals, and gritty bass kicks. Deep, urban-disco style that does it right and vocal loops that say it all.
With the kind of strut runway models aspire to, "Retrosonic" steps in with heavy funk, a little blues edge, and original jazz groove. Unconventional percussion, breaks and bridges, and superb, bluesy vocal cues, that culminate with a perfectly dropped sub-bass bomb: nice!
"Intermezzo" ...brilliant. Spoken word loops and soulful vocals in a laid-back, jazzy groove.
Although "Electric Shampoo" comes off like its own disco mega-mix, it's got an original style and fat, funky bass line you just need to feel. Definitely a stand-out track.
Overall a strong album with plenty of flavor and a unique sound.
