Eastenders' Orientation takes new Asian and Oriental sound elements and brings them together with western club and music culture. Even though the Nu Asian Dance Sound originated in London, it has long since become a global movement.

Through his far-reaching contacts, Eastenders (aka Stefan Müller) has been able to win for us the rare "Dabudei", by the multi-cultural Viennese duo, dZihan & Kamien, the widely lauded Mychael Danna's (of Monsoon Wedding and Kama Sutra soundtrack fame) "Aaj Mera Jee Kardaa (Zimpala remix)" along with tracks by Karminsky Experience Inc. (London), Karuan (Vienna), Sri-Lankan-born Ramesh (Berlin), and of course Eastenders (Frankfurt) himself, who, along with his co-producer Afrit, contributes three original tracks, proving that not only is he a master at the turntables, but he's a hell of a producer.

Incorporating much live instrumentation on the various tracks, as well as elements from the usual electronica toolshed, Eastenders' Orientation is not your Standard Middle Eastern Chillout compilation. A sweet mix of jazz, chilled drum and bass, downtempo and ethnic beats and vocals, this disc features never-before-released tines and rare, hard to find remixes that results in a recording that shreds the other "eastern" chillout compilations apart.

Released in conjunction with Poet's Club Recordings (www.poetsclubrec.com) in Germany, Eastenders' Orientation is a flavorful blend of the exotic. Tasty!
