There are really very specific moments when I'm willing to call something "chillout", and that is when it really is. Well, Woolfy vs. Projections offers up some serious chillout vibes. "The Astral Projections of Starlight" begins as all such music does; calmly.

As you progress through the songs however, you'll pick up on more and more disco influences, both in the percussive rhythms, bass lines and in a song or two, the horns. I guess that makes this album a bit of cosmic chillout, but saying it that way just sounds "off" in many ways, especially when you listen to tracks like "The Escape".
With an almost equal mix of vocal and instrumental tracks, and those whose vocals are so sparse they walk the line, there are two sides of the "stand out" track statement. Check out the nice work on "Carry On", "Neeve" "Starlight", or one my personal favorites, "This Space" for starters. For a chilled out alt-pop, floating in a spectral sea trip, check out "Absynth" (and maybe drink a little for the full effect - though honestly, I've never had it, so I can't say the flavors would blend).
Really nice altered-consciousness aid.
