Producer and label head Roy Shakked has forged quite a name for himself and his Hollywood, CA-based Groove Gravy Records. As the progenitor of The Tao of Groove, Roy created a buzz in music circles with the release of The Tao of Groove's first album "Fresh Goods". The reviews were universally positive.

Acoustic instruments complement the electronic aspects of the music to give it a warmth not usually found on many other chillout, lounge or acid jazz releases.
