Over the past ten years, Beef Terminal's MD Matheson has perfected his rusty, urban soundtrack sound and channeled it into four releases on Noise Factory. Hexes & Ohs is Edmund Lam and Heidi Donnelly and their track here entitled "Our Reflection Echoes On" is a really nice piece of melancholy glitch-pop with perfect vocals for its style. Nybbl's track "Styrofoam Pieces In Places of a Heart" starts off with a subtle echo of footsteps and ambient strings but evolves into heavily distrorted, sluggish beats. Tinkertoy deliver a slice of dreamy, minimal trance with "Fifty-Two Incorporated". Naw's tracks bring even more mellow, ambient, and slightly glitchy trance beats. Minisystem and Neon Tetra have a sound reminiscent of the ambient, beat-driven, synth-pop style of artists like Christian Kleine or Ulrich Schnauss. Abcbicycle channel that same sound into something with a slight hip-hop influence in the percussion. Aidan Baker's track "When You Scream (Troum Remix)" is an elongated, distrorted drone.

All-in-all this is a really nice collection of darkly toned, ambient, glitch-pop, and at times distorted ambient-glitch that's recommended for any fan of Noise Factory, City Centre Offices, Skam, Arovane, or Boards Of Canada.
