"Out Of The Woods" is Seelenluft's second full-length album and in the summer of 2002 one song in particular took control of dance floors worldwide. The song is "Manila". There's a simple, but interesting story behind the song and its vocalist. Apparently, the boy named Michael Smith, who was only 12 at the time is just someone that Seelenluft's Beat Solèr met while spending time in Los Angeles. He had an idea to add the boys vocals to the track and naturally, an instant hit was born.

Seelenluft's sound is marked by incredible beat work, dirty double bass, and perfectly portioned acoustic and electronic instrumentation in a mix of jazz, breakbeat, Latin, near eastern, and Viennese downtempo influences that is so effortless it practically defines its own genre.
If I wrote about each notable track on Out Of The Woods I'd have to tell you about every one of them, so suffice to say, Seelenluft scored a masterpiece with this one. Seek it out.
