Audio Cinematography is Glideascope's first full-length album and it demonstrates a style of writing that's matured nicely since the debut ep "With Strings Attached". Sharing a lot in common with Nitin Sawhney's sound, Glideascope seamlessly amalgamates sounds from Africa, southern Asia, western Europe and American hip-hop.

Glideascope is an African fusion artist, as Nitin Sawhney is an Indian fusion artist. With that said, afro-beat lovers will appreciate the strong African musical influence, with its distinct percussive rhythms and call-and-response vocal style found throughout this album. Unlike many afro-beat productions however, Glideascope keeps the beats mellow. In different measure, each of the 19 tracks (there's a 'hidden' one) on Audio Cinematography combine African percussion and vocals, orchestral strings, classical piano, Indian percussion, and hip-hop beats, while some introduce male vocals, others offer female, and many just use sampled vocal clips, as others remain instrumental.
Audio Cinematography is not a collection of singles, so don't expect to zero in on two or three tracks. This album is an experience best enjoyed as a whole. It's songs are beautiful, sometimes political, lyrically honest, and musically clean with a lush depth.
Some of this reviewer's personal favorites are "Big Big Disgrace", "Cinematic Sound (dubtronica)", "Road To Istanbul", "Hartronica", "Come Back To Me", and "Going All The Way (director's cut)".
