CH3VY released their very first record through Catskills:Projects in January of 2005 and they've come a long way since then, including now being part of the proper Catskills Records roster. Their latest work "Hard Massage", which delivers a new, but familiar direction in sound for CH3VY has been released as a limited (1000 copies only) 7" vinyl single featuring two lush down tempo tracks; "Hard Massage" and "Praize The Nord (Boca45 remix)".

"Hard Massage" steps out with delicate synth keys and bass piano stabs that are joined by vocal chants and a deep, winding bass line. These elements bubble up into some smooth, mellow breaks that are joined later on by funky organ work, cinematic strings and crazy turntablism to complete a languid, slow-burner with just enough funk in the mix to keep it all jumping.

"Praize The Nord" originally released on CH3VY's debut EP "Fur Coat, No Knickers" has been run through some super-funky, cut-up breakbeat and hip hop treatment by Bristol's Boca45.

This singles picking up love from the likes of Mixmaster Morris, Dr. Rubberfunk (BBC 6 Music), Nick Luscombe (XFM), and Mr. Scruff (Ninja Tune). Just take it from Mr. Scruff who says "A-side is a lovely mellow wibbler... very good."
