Compiled by DJ Chicken George, "The Swed.u.s.h Connection" is four tracks of lush melodies and fresh beats from U.S. producers Take, Hydroponic Soundsystem and Malcolm Kipe. As a whole, these songs would fit well with the French melodies of Kid Loco, the smooth, Austrian flow of Tosca, and the mood-swinging, scratchy style of DJ Cam.

Take occupy the a-side with "Dream Over" and "The Highest Highs And The Lowest Lows". Both tracks are incredible slices of downtempo goodness, featuring beautiful melodies, deep, sultry rhythms and smooth breaks. "The Highest Highs..." takes a bite straight out of Kruder & Dorfmeister's "Original Bedroom Rockers", but Take keep it fresh.

Hydroponic Sound System jump in with a little b-boy style in "Young Ladys In The House". Nice breaks, drifting synths, and a well-grooved bassline combine with rap vocal cuts. If it doesn't get you workin' out'cha thang, you better reconnect.

Malcolm Kipe collaborates with DJ Chicken George on "Motivstation" for yet another excellent track. Slow, lumbering beats, mellow horns and grandiose sitar melodies get mixed up with a mood-shift into some ruff-neck piano breaks style. Very DJ Cam... this goes so far beyond just making your head nod.

Bottom line... top quality selections you simply need to own.
