Marbert Rocel
Cornflake Boy
Compost Records

Sunny sound dots appeared all over the wide valley of Thuringia, Germany - the place where lush moving meadows outshines the ways of masters and servants.

Everything began with two upright guys and a fly girl, who had a cup of milk and honey at the late club. By every slug they spread a warm and cozy beat over the folks hearts. Beats like birds flap their wings in the rhythm of warm house and understatement pop.

For five years to date they keep to the big bang jigger kings with delight uptempo emo and frickelchick. Recently Marbert Rocel plucked up their samples and sent good feeling track cards from their train station Zughafen to their main station, Compost Records. United they are devising the new zippy album to bring your birdy hearts to fly. Do you need a new dash on your way up?

Gelka
Alex and Sergio from GELKA are definitely no strangers to the game whatsoever. After a string of tasty contributions to prestigous compilations like Cafe Del Mar throughout the last years, the boys now come on strong to prove that their "urban blues" drenched downtempo electronica is something way beyond any lounge or chill out cliche. In fact, GELKA draws from a rich background and various influences, yet the duo always manages to simply make GELKA music. Timeless trademark sound? For real! And what a sound, indeed... First division producer skills meet smart musicianship in the land of the good groove. ... read more
