Properly Chilled opened its doors in January of 2005
For me and perhaps you as well, Downtempo is so much more than a simple genre label. It's a word that describes an attitude and a way of living that's complemented and personified by a wildly varied, but closely knit family of musical genres that form a soundtrack to our lives.
It's my goal to make Properly Chilled a place that brings it all together; music, life and friends. More than anything, I hope you'll enjoy what Properly Chilled is and will become. Everything here has been hand-picked from the basis of a deep love for downtempo and all it is.
